For the last couple of years I've gone on a week long vacation with The Moms to Cancun. This was suppose to be the last year for a number of reasons. Well I'm thoroughly disappointed. Today was my sign up date for the spring semester and everything I wanted to take is full. I'm especially bummed that the World Mythology class I was looking so forward to was full. The plans for this Thanksgiving was to eat dinner at my Tia's new house in Palmdale. The Moms were going to ride up in their car, Christine was carpooling with dad, while I was going to stay behind and wait for Eric to get out of work and we'd be up last.

What a week.
First of all, I found out that my math teacher is leaving us mid way through the semester. This has me especially bummed because he is the only math teacher that I've ever really liked. You know when you say a word over and over and over and soon it loses it's meaning? Apparently that's called Semantic Satiation. I guess it was naive of me to never consider that something like that would have a title, but still I think it's cool. I'm not sure how to pronounce "satiation" though.

I'm finally recovering from my cold, only now I've got another problem. It appears I have a small cyst on my thigh. I've had them before, two had to be removed surgical when I was a child, one on my cheek and one on my back. Neither were very big, but I remember the they were painful. I've been seriously neglecting my actual journal because once I get into a spiral of events I become too lazy and sometimes too anxious to seriously confront the issues at hand.
